What is unSCruz?
unSCruz is an official Burning Man Regional Event. This means we are endorsed by Burning Man, but we receive NO money from them. We are NON-commercial in every way; we abide by the Ten Principles.
What It Is
unSCruz is a magical four-day, three-night campout celebrating art, fire, music, and community — an official Burning Man Regional Event built entirely by its participants. Everything you see and experience is created by participants—artists, theme camps, and dreamers, who bring the magic to life through the Ten Principles of Burning Man.
Where & When
Held each spring at the San Benito County Fairgrounds in Tres Pinos, California, unSCruz is a four-day, three-night campout featuring interactive art, theme camps, live DJs, fire performances, and spontaneous weirdness. The event usually lands around late April or early May, depending on the year.
Why It’s Unique
unSCruz stands out because it’s built entirely by its participants. It brings the magic of the playa to a local, accessible setting while keeping true to the spirit of radical participation.
