It is our mission, therefore, to accommodate all Playa residents in need (according to availability) the opportunity to separate from an existing Playa Name Relationship (according to the Courts whim) in the most humane and respectful manner possible (depending on how slow the day is going so far). Playa Name Orphanage Our will-kill shelter has names desperate for a new person to attach to. All unadopted names will find their peace in the temple on burn night. Ages 21 and over. Do the voice weasels in your head sometimes try to lead you astray? Don’t let those thoughts stay/thrive and turn into mantras. Drop off those shitty mantras at the Shitty Mantra Dropoff. We happily take and destroy any and all shitty mantras for you! Leave us your “I don’t belong”, “I’m not worthy”, “The world is out to get me” and other shitty mantras. Participants will engage with a Mantra Muse, learn about shitty mantras through conversation and signage, think about what shitty mantra they may be carrying, write it on a slip of paper and drop it in the bag. All the slips will be taken to the burn. Participants are invited to stay, have a seat, relax, share conversation and a laugh or two.

Please bring your creativity, any jewelry materials you want to share and willingness to clean up any MOOP you generate. Suitable for Adults and Children who can use tools with adult supervision
